Relationships Tab of the Activity Details Pane

Use this tab to change the relationship type of any activity or add/remove a relationship.

Predecessors / Successors

Predecessor activities display on the left and successor activities display on the right. The field descriptions apply to predecessor and successor fields.

Field	Description
Activity	This field displays the predecessor / successor activity ID.
Description	This field displays the activity description.
Activity Type	This field indicates the activity type, for example, Normal or Milestone.
Type	This field displays the activity relationship type
Lag	This field displays the number of days or hours of lag. You set the display unit using the Activity Group Activity View > Display Settings command.
External	If this field is selected, it indicates that the predecessor/successor is an external activity. This is a read-only field.
Driving	If this field is selected, it indicates that the activity that is driving the longest path in the schedule is an external activity. This is a read-only field.
Add	Click to add a predecessor/successor activity.
Remove	Click to remove a predecessor/successor activity.
Go To	Click to highlight the selected predecessor/successor in the Activity grid.
