If you establish
project defaults in General Configuration,
Ajera CRM uses your default settings each time that you create a new
project record. You can then modify the values in the new record.
Ajera CRM limits
project defaults to certain tabs and fields. You cannot use this feature to set default values for an entire record.
\When you create a new
project record,
Ajera CRM applies
project defaults in the following ways:
- When you click
to create a project,
Ajera CRM applies all the project defaults to the project.
- If you create a project from an opportunity, certain values are determined by values in the opportunity record; for fields not pulled from the opportunity record,
Ajera CRM uses the project defaults.
- If you copy an existing
project to create a new
project,
Ajera CRM uses the field information of the existing
project; it does not use
project defaults.
- If you use a
project template to create a
project,
Ajera CRM overrides the
project template fields with the information from the
project defaults.
