Convert Task Number Formats

Use the Key Convert Task Format utility to reformat the length, delimiter, or delimiter position for your task numbers.

When you install Ajera CRM, the default work breakdown structure (WBS) has only the project level (WBS 1 level). If you also want the option to use the task level (WBS 3 level), use this utility to specify the task number length and other format information.

If you activate the task level and later decide that you want to deactivate it system-wide, contact Deltek Customer Care for guidance. The process for removing a WBS level can be complicated and labor intensive.

Prerequisite: Back up your Ajera CRM database.

To reformat task numbers:

1. From the Ajera CRM Navigation menu, click Utilities > Key Formats > Tasks.
2. Complete the fields on the Key Convert Task Format form.
3. Review the Sample Value field to see the format as it will be after the key conversion is run.
4. Click Run.
