Use the Forms tab to set the background and colors for the input controls, buttons, background, and foreground.

			 | Control Selection List | This field displays all available controls for this tab and allows you to select the control whose appearance you want to modify. You can change its appearance with the 
				Background and 
				Foreground group boxes. Selecting 
				  Groupbox only allows you to modify the 
				  Text Color properties; options in the Background group box are disabled. Selecting 
				  Form Background only allows you to modify the Solid Color properties; other options in the 
				  Background and 
				  Foreground group boxes are disabled. 
				 You can preview the current settings in the 
				  Input Controls and 
				  Buttons fields.

			 | Use Default Values | Select this option to apply the default values for the selected control. You can also click the 
				Restore Defaults button to reset the settings to the standard default values. | 
 
		   
			 | Input Controls | This group box provides a preview of the changes that you make in any selected input control. You can modify the 
				Solid Color, 
				Border Color, and 
				Text Color properties for the following input fields. For input links, however, you can only modify the text colors. 
				 Options include: 
				  
				   
					 Normal — The label or corresponding text input in this field reflect any change in the Text color properties of Standard Text, Input Field, or Input Link. Controls in the Background group box are disabled. 
				   
					 Required — The label or corresponding text input in this field reflect any changes in the Solid Color, Border Color, or Text Color properties of Required Input Field. 
				   
					 Locked — The label and corresponding text input in this field reflect any changes in the Solid Color, Border Color, or Text Color properties of Locked Input Field or Locked Input Link. 
				   
					 Disabled — The label and corresponding text input in this field reflect any changes in the Solid Color, Border Color, or Text Color properties of Disabled Label or Disabled Input Field. 
				   For 
				  Required, 
				  Locked, and 
				  Disabled fields, other controls in the 
				  Foreground and 
				  Background group boxes are disabled.

			 | Buttons | This group box provides a preview of the changes that you make in any selected buttons. You can modify the gradient, solid color, border color, and text color properties of the following buttons:  
				   
					 Normal — The label of this button reflects any change in properties of Button. 
				   
					 Active — The label of this button reflects any change in properties of Active Button. 
				   
					 Pressed — The label of this button reflects any changes in properties of Pressed Button. 
				   
					 Disabled — If the option is selected, the label of this button reflects any change in Text Color properties of Disabled Button. Other properties of this button match the properties of Button, Gradients, and Solid Color. PM Compass users cannot modify the appearance of this button unless the 
					 Use Default Values option is selected for 
					 Button. 
				   For 
				  Active, 
				  Pressed, and 
				  Disabled fields, controls in the 
				  Foreground group box are disabled. 
				 | 
 
		   
			 | Background | Use these settings to establish the background colors for the selected control. For controls that allow a gradient background color, the following options are available. 
				  
				   
					 Gradient — Use this option to specify the hue, saturation, and luminance of the selected control. Click the paintbrush button to open the Select Hue dialog box and further refine the hue settings. A preview of the gradient displays. 
				   
					 Solid Color — Use this option to specify a solid color for the selected control. Click the paintbrush button to open the 
					 Select Color dialog box and further refine the color settings. For some controls, this also enables the 
					 Border Color option. Use this option to specify the color for the control's border. 
				   A preview of the color and border displays.

			 | Foreground | Use this setting to establish the foreground color for the selected control. Click the paintbrush button to open the Select Color dialog box and refine the color settings. A preview of the color displays. |
