330 Preferences Form

Use the 330 Preferences form to select a default template and some other default settings for your SF330 proposals. Each item on this form is related to one or more blocks on the SF330.

Location

To display the form, complete the following steps:

  1. From the Ajera CRM Navigation menu, click Proposals > SF330 Proposals.
  2. On the toolbar, click Edit > Preferences.

Field Description
Default Template Select the merge template set to use in merging the SF330 proposal.
Name This field shows the font used in the merge template.
Size This field shows the font size used in the merge template.
Font Click this button to open the Preferred Font dialog box, where you select the font type and size.
Employee Name - Name Format Use this field to specify the formatting in Block 4 of the Point of Contact's name, the employee’s name in Sections F and G, the Signor’s name in Block 33, in Section H, and the Signor’s name in Block 12c, Part II.

Ajera CRM uses [First][Last] as the usual format unless you select a different format from the drop-down list.

Role from Opportunity Use this field to specify the role of the employee whose data Ajera CRM uses to populate Blocks 4 through 8, when you use New > Create SF330 From Opportunity to create an SF330 proposal.

Select from the drop-down list the role that Ajera CRM uses as the criterion to identify an employee on the General tab of the opportunity record.

Section E Personnel Degree Separator Select the separator to use between the degree and year of graduation.
Registration Separator Select the registration separator to use between the state issuing the license or registration, and the license or registration type). For example, you could select a slash to have the employee's registration information appear as CA/Professional Engineer.
Space after Separator Select this check box to enter a space after the separators used in the degrees and registrations. If the separator is a comma, you must select this option to enter a space after the comma.
Include Institution Select this check box to include the name of the institution for each degree.
Include Date Earned Select this check box to include the date when the degree was earned.
Space before Separator Select this check box to enter a space before the separators used in the degrees and registrations.
Include Year Earned Select this check box to include the year the registration was earned.
Include Registration Num. Select this check box to include the registration number.
Brief Project Description Use this field to specify the description category used in Block 19(3).
Role Description Format Use this field to specify how the employee's project role is formatted.
Other Prof. Qualifications Use this field to specify the resume category used in Block 18.
Section F Projects Default Description Select the description to show in Section F, Block 24 when you select the project in Section F using the shortcut menu option Add Projects.
Default Owner Select the firm to show as the project's owner in Section F, Block 23a when you select the project in Section F using the shortcut menu option Add Projects
  • PrimaryAjera CRM uses the Primary Client for the project, as specified on the General tab of the Projects Info Center.
  • OwnerAjera CRM uses the client whose project role is Owner, as specified on the Clients/Contacts tab of the Projects Info Center.
Default Contact Select the contact whose name and telephone number are shown as the project's contact in Section F, Blocks 23b and 23c when you select the project in Section F using the shortcut menu option Add Projects.
  • PrimaryAjera CRM uses the Primary Client for the project, as specified on the General tab of the Projects Info Center.
  • OwnerAjera CRM uses the client whose project role is Owner, as specified on the Clients/Contacts tab of the Projects Info Center.
Section G Include all Project Associations This check box controls how data is entered into the Section G matrix:
  • When this check box is cleared, Ajera CRM populates Section G with exact matches between Section E employees, their Block 13 role on the proposed project, and their role in the Section F project.
  • When this check box is selected:
    • Employees and asterisks are shown in the Section G matrix for any projects on which the employee had any role, and
    • Clicking on an asterisk opens the Section G roles dialog box, where you can select a project role for the employee and change the asterisk to an X.
