Sections of the XML File
When you export data from Cobra to wInsight, the process generates a single XML file.
The file is divided into sections for easier reading. These sections are:
- Units
- Structures
- Columns
- Calendars
- CalendarDets
- Contractors

- ACL
- WST_DIR_CTRL_COUNTRY
- Periods

- Elements

When a project is exported to wInsight, the elements of cost selected on the Element of Cost page of the wInsight Wizard are included in the <Units> section of the XML file.

Contracts Section of the XML File
When a project is exported to wInsight, the information on the Contract Information and Budget tabs of the Project Properties dialog box is included in the <Contracts> section of the XML file.
When a project is exported to wInsight, the access control information is included in the <ACL> section of the XML file.
Authorized Control Countries Section of the XML File
When a project is exported to wInsight, the Authorized Control Countries (ACC) list for the project is exported to the <WST_DIR_CTRL_COUNTRY> section of the XML file.
Periods Section of the XML File
When a project is exported to wInsight, the current period information is included in the <Periods> section of the XML file.
When a project is exported to wInsight, the information on the General, Contract Information, and Budget tabs of the Project Properties dialog box is included in the <Cprs> section of the XML file.
Elements Section of the XML File
When a project is exported to wInsight, the work breakdown structures (WBS) and organizational breakdown structures (OBS) information is included in the <Elements> section of the XML file.
EarnedValues Section of the XML File
When a project is exported to wInsight, the cost set information on the Cost Sets page of the wInsight Wizard is included in the <EarnedValues> section of the XML file.
Manpowers Section of the XML File
When a project is exported to wInsight, the manpower units information on the Element of Cost page of the wInsight Wizard is included in the <Manpowers> section of the XML file.
FutureEtcs Section of the XML File
When a project is exported to wInsight, the future time-phased budget and forecast information is included in the <FutureEtcs> section of the XML file.
NarrElemPers Section of the XML File
When a project is exported to wInsight, the narrative information in Narrative pane of the Analyze form is included in the <NarrElemPers> section of the XML file.
ElemLinks Section of the XML File
When a project is exported to wInsight, codes selected on the Link Structures page of the wInsight Wizard are included in the <ElemLinks> section of the XML file.
