Error Logs for Reporting

To log errors that occur in the reporting module, a REPORTING setting can be added in the config.xml file. To add the setting in the config.xml file:

1. Navigate to the installation directory where the \app folder resides.

2. Locate config.xml.

3. Open config.xml with a text editor such as Notepad.

4. Locate </config> and type the following above it:

6. Save the file and restart the application server.

7. When an error occurs in reporting, an error log file will display in the \logs folder. The log file will have the following filename: ReportEngine_YYYY_MM_DD_HH_MM_SS.log.
