Display the Assign Resources to Project Dialog Box

You display the dialog box from Project View.

To display the dialog box:

  1. In the Navigation pane, go to the Resource Management section and click Project View.
  2. Select the project or opportunity to which you want to assign resources.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • If you want to assign resources to work breakdown structure (WBS) elements in all or many of the WBS branches, click on the row for the top-level project in the Project View grid, and click in the Resource/Level field in the row. DPS displays the entire WBS hierarchy in the Assign Resources to Project dialog box.
    • If you want to assign resources to work breakdown structure (WBS) elements in just one branch of the WBS, click on the row for the parent WBS element for that branch in the Project View grid, and click in the Resource/Level field in the row. DPS displays just the WBS hierarchy for that branch in the Assign Resources to Project dialog box.
