Mute a Kona Conversation

Kona includes an option to mute a conversation, which will turn off all notifications related to the conversation. Notifications include sound and browser notification, new item, email, and pop-up notifications with text. It is useful to note that even when a conversation is muted, you still have the option to view its comments.

You must enable Kona Business integration to conduct a Kona conversation.

To mute a conversation:

1. From the Conversation details screen: Select the conversation topic you wish to disable notifications for. Click the drop-down arrow next to the topic's name and select Mute conversation. Once selected, you will stop receiving notifications for this conversation and it will have moved to the Muted filter on the Conversations tab.
2. From the Collaboration tab: Hover over the space picture on the right of the line until a speaker icon displays. Click the speaker icon to mute the conversation. The conversation moves to the Muted filter on the Conversations tab.
