Consultants Charts Dialog Box

The Consultants Charts dialog box displays two charts to give you a quick summary of consultants planning information for the work breakdown structure element that is currently selected in the grid on the Consultants tab.

If you leave the dialog box open, you can select other rows in the grid, and the charts update automatically to reflect the currently selected row. The charts also update automatically if you change data in the grid that affects the currently selected row.

The currently selected WBS element, along with its parent elements from higher levels of the WBS, displays above the charts for reference.

    You display the dialog box from the Consultants tab on the Projects form (in Planning mode).
  • Consultant Plan Summary Chart
    Use the Consultant Plan Summary chart on the Consultants tab of the Projects form (in Planning mode) to view the consultants contract, planned, and job-to-date (JTD) amounts for the work breakdown structure (WBS) element that is selected in the grid. This summary can include contract amounts and the billing or cost amounts for direct and reimbursable consultants.
  • Consultant Progress Chart
    Use the Consultant Progress chart on the Consultants tab of the Projects form (in Planning mode) to view how each consultant's job-to-date (JTD) amounts are trending compared to the remaining work on the project. Use this information to quickly analyze each consultant's progress and compare it to that of other consultants.
