Display the Add Assignments Dialog Box

Display the Add Assignments dialog box from a resource row.

1. In the Navigation pane, click Resource Management > Resource View.
2. If necessary, use a search to display, in the grid, the resource for whom you want to assign work on a project.
3. Click the resource row in the grid, and click in the Resource/Level field in the row.

   If the resource already has at least one assignment for the project and you want to make another assignment for a work breakdown structure (WBS) element on a specific branch of the project tree, an alternative is to expand the WBS rows for the project in the Resource View grid down to a parent level for the WBS element, and click that parent and then click on that WBS row. In the Add Assignments dialog box, only the portion of the project tree that you selected displays, making it easier to locate the element for which you want to make the assignment.
