Convert Account Number Formats

Use the Key Format utility to reformat the length, delimiter, or delimiter position for your account numbers.

Prerequisite: Back up your DPS database.

To reformat account numbers:

1. In the Navigation pane, select Utilities > Key Formats > Accounts.
2. Complete the fields on the Account Number Format form.
3. Review the Sample Value field to see the format as it will be after the key conversion is run.
4. Click Run.
