Convert Client Number Formats

Use the Key Format utility to reformat the length, delimiter, or delimiter position for your client record number.

Prerequisite: Back up your DPS database.

To reformat client record numbers:

1. On the Navigation menu, click Utilities > Key Formats > Clients.
2. Complete the fields on the Client Number Format form.
3. Review the Sample Value field to see the format as it will be after the key conversion is run.
4. Click Run.
