Convert Employee Number Formats

Use the Key Format utility to reformat the length, delimiter, or delimiter position for your employee numbers.

Prerequisite: Back up your DPS database.

To reformat employee numbers:

1. On the Navigation menu, click Utilities > Key Formats > Employees.
2. Complete the fields on the Key Format Employee Number form.
3. Review the Sample Value field to see the format as it will be after the key format is run.
4. Click Run.
