Distribute an Annual Amount Evenly Across Periods
One way to enter period-by-period budgets for an account is to enter a total annual budget and have it evenly distributed across all periods in the year. This distribution can be automatic or manual.
Prerequisite: Open a General Ledger budget group.
To distribute annual budget amounts:
- On the Account Details grid of the General Ledger Budgeting Group form, move the selector to the row to distribute.
- For each account that you want to adjust, enter the annual budget in the Annual field and then click Distribute Annual.
- Click Save.
