Add an Activity on the Calendar
You can add an activity on the calendar.
To add an activity:
- In the navigation pane, go to the My Stuff section and select Calendar.

Add an activity. Do any of the following:
- Select .
- Select Calendar Views in the left pane, select the Day view or Week view, and click on a time slot on the calendar.
- Select Calendar Views in the left pane, select the Day view and click the time slot.

Complete the following fields in the Activity dialog box:
- On the Overview Tab, enter an activity name in the text box.
- Click Start Date and End Date and pick dates and times.

If this is a recurring activity, click the
Repeats drop-down list, select the activity's frequency , and set its duration in the
Ends drop-down list.
Use the options to further customize the repeating activity. For example:
- If you want to set the activity on the second day of every month, select Monthly in the Repeats drop-down list, select 1st in the Repeat drop-down list and 1 in the Months drop-down list.
- If you want to set the activity once a year, select Yearly in the Repeats drop-down list and select a date-month combination (for example, every 1st of January) or select a day-month combination (for example, every 2nd Monday of January).
- In the Type drop-down list, select an activity type (for example, meeting, task, or webinar).
- Associate contacts or employees to the activity. You can also associate an opportunity, project, or marketing campaign or user-defined hub to the activity.
- Click the Files and Links tab to add documents or media files and URLs that are related to the activity. These can include presentations, reports, proposals, or other documentation relevant to the activity.
- If the activity is completed, click Mark Complete.
- Click Save.
DPS creates a hyperlink in the Activities hub or in the Activities tab of the records associated with the activity.
