Field Description
Credit Card This field displays the ID of the primary credit card for which you created the statement. The credit card reconciliation includes all secondary credit cards that are associated with a primary credit card.
Statement Date This field displays the statement date for the credit card statement that you entered on the Credit Card Statement Selection dialog box when you initially created the statement. To change the date, click Open on the Credit Card Statement Reconciliation form toolbar. On the Credit Card Statement Selection dialog box, enter the credit card and statement and click the Modify Date button. On the Credit Card Statement Modify Date dialog box, enter the new date.
Range of Dates

If you import charges for the credit card into DPS

The range of dates applies only for charges posted on expense reports and AP disbursements in DPS that do not have a matching imported charge. Specify the beginning and ending dates to determine which posted expense report and AP disbursement charges to include in the statement and display on the Charges tab. You can change the date after a statement has been created. If you leave the Range of Dates fields blank, all posted charge transactions display on the Charges tab.

The range of dates does not affect the charges that you imported directly into the statement using the Import > Import Charges option on the toolbar of the Credit Card Statement Reconciliation form.

If you do not import charges for the credit card into DPS

Specify the range of dates to determine which posted expense report and AP disbursement charges to include on the statement and display on the Charges tab. You can change the date after a statement has been created. If you leave the Range of Dates fields blank, all posted charge transactions will display on the Charges tab.

Statement Beginning Balance This field prefills with the amount that was entered in the Opening Balance field on the Credit Card Statement Selection dialog box when you initially created the statement. You can change the amount. For example, you can change it if a credit card was not paid in full the month before.
Statement Ending Balance This field prefills with the amount that was entered in the Closing Balance field on the Credit Card Statement Selection dialog box when you initially created the statement. You can change the amount. You can compare this amount to the total reconciled amount on the Charges tab.
Closed Select this check box when all charges from the credit card statement are accounted for in DPS and the statement is reconciled. You can re-open a closed statement by clearing the Closed check box.
Memo Use this field to enter notes, such as to explain missing charges, split transactions, and so on.
