DPS Icon Menu Items in an Outlook Email

Use the DPS icon menu items to access DPS functionality in Outlook Web App (OWA).

The DPS icon displays in Outlook Web App (OWA) in an email that you have open if the email has a recipient or sender who is entered as a contact in the Contacts hub in DPS.

When you click the DPS icon in an email, select one of the following options in the menu:

Open Deltek When you open Outlook for the first time after you install the Outlook add-in for DPS or if your DPS password has changed since the last time you used Outlook, click this option to open the DPS welcome pane. Then enter the information to connect Outlook to your DPS database and your DPS login credentials. This information is saved and used automatically to connect to the DPS database every time you open Outlook.

After you connect to the DPS database, when you open an email that has a recipient or sender who is entered as a contact in DPS and you click Open Deltek, the DPS contact information pane opens and displays specific information that is entered in DPS for the contact.

Account Information This opens the DPS account information pane, where you can view or change the information that connects Outlook to your DPS database.
