Display the New Item Dialog Box

You display the New Item dialog box from a form in the Purchasing and Inventory applications.

Open a Purchasing or Inventory form and enter an item. If you enter an item that is not in the Items list, and the Automatic Add/Items is selected in Purchasing and Inventory Configuration, DPS displays a prompt to ask if you want to add the item to the list. If you click Yes, the New Item dialog box displays.
