Consolidated Eliminations Columns Tab

Use the Columns tab to select or clear columns, change column sequence, provide new column labels, set column widths, or select number and date formats. For security reasons, calculated fields are not available on the consolidated general ledger reports.

Field Description
Account This column displays the account number of a general ledger account for which all or part of the account balance was eliminated during consolidation processing for the selected consolidation group. If you eliminate income statement accounts, all transactions eliminated for prior years for those accounts are summarized on a previous year's earnings line. If you drill down on these accounts, the drill-down report displays the actual amounts that are eliminated.
Account Name This column displays the name of the account.
Company columns

In addition to the columns that you can select on the Columns tab, the report always displays columns of eliminated amounts by company.

For balance sheet accounts, each of these columns display the total amount eliminated for the account to date for one of the companies in the consolidation group. For income statement accounts, each of them displays the amount eliminated for the current fiscal year through the end of the current accounting period for one of the companies.

If you use multiple currencies, this report displays amounts in the currency specified for the consolidation group.

Total Amount

For balance sheet accounts, this column displays the total amount eliminated for the account to date for all companies in the consolidation group. For income statement accounts, it displays the total amount eliminated for the current fiscal year through the end of the current accounting period for all of the companies.

If you use multiple currencies, this report displays amounts in the currency specified for the consolidation group.
