Opportunity List Columns Tab

Use the Columns tab to select the columns to display on the Opportunity List report, change column sequence, provide new column labels, set column widths, or select number and date formats.

Grid Type Columns

Most available columns display data from the Opportunities hub. In addition, you can use this tab to include columns that contain associated data. These are called "grid columns."

The list of columns in this topic includes all available grid columns. However, the grid columns that actually display on the Columns tab vary based on your selection in Grid Type on the General tab. The grid column labels begin with the grid type. For example, each of the contact grid column labels begins with Contacts - (Contacts - Name, Contacts - Title, and so on).

The following are the columns listed in the Column Name field in the grid on the Columns tab that you can add to the Opportunity List report.

Field Description
Opportunity Name This column displays the name of the opportunity.
Opportunity Number This column displays the opportunity identifier.
Organization If you use organizations in DPS, this column displays the identifier for the organization in your firm that is responsible for pursuing the opportunity.
Organization Name If you use organizations in DPS, this column displays the name of the organization in your firm that is responsible for pursuing the opportunity.
Primary Client This column displays the name of the primary firm associated with the opportunity.
Primary Contact Name This column displays the name of the primary contact associated with the opportunity.
Row Count This column displays the total number of detail lines for each group, based on the sorting and grouping selections on the Sorting/Grouping tab. If the report groups data at more than one level, this column displays row counts for all grouping levels.
Project Number If you created a project record from the opportunity record, this column displays the project number.
Project Name If you created a project record from the opportunity record, this column displays the project name.
Promotional Project Number If you created a promotional project record from the opportunity record to track and bill charges for proposal generation, this column displays the promotional project number.
Promotional Project Name If you created a promotional project record from the opportunity record to track and bill charges for proposal generation, this column displays the promotional project name.
Project Plan This column displays the number of the project plan associated with the opportunity.
Project Plan Name This column displays the name of the project plan associated with the opportunity.
Organization Status This column displays the status (active, inactive, or dormant) of the firm that is associated with the opportunity.
Primary Contact Title This column displays the title of the primary contact associated with the opportunity.
Primary Contact Business Phone This column displays the primary contact's business phone number.
Primary Contact Mobile Phone This column displays the primary contact's cellular phone number.
Primary Contact Business Fax This column displays the primary contact's business fax number.
Primary Contact Pager This column displays the primary contact's pager number.
Primary Contact E-mail This column displays the primary contact's email address.
Project Manager Name This column displays the name of the employee serving as project manager for the opportunity.
Principal–In–Charge Name This column displays the name of the principal responsible for the opportunity.
Supervisor Name This column displays the name of the employee serving as supervisor for the opportunity.
Est. Revenue This column displays the estimated revenue you expect to earn from the opportunity.
Probability This column displays the probability that the opportunity will become a project. For example, if that probability is 80%, this column displays 80.
Weighted Revenue This column displays the weighted revenue for the opportunity: Estimated revenue x Probability / 100.
Date Opened This column displays the date on which you identified the opportunity and began pursuing the job.
Date Closed This column displays the date on which you closed the opportunity (for example, the date you stopped pursuing the opportunity or the date you were awarded the job).
Days Open This column displays the number of days the opportunity has been open. For a closed opportunity, this is the number of days from the date it was opened to the date it was closed.
Stage This column displays the current stage of the opportunity (for example, Pending, Proposal Submitted, or Awarded).
Type This column displays the type of the project (for example, Educational, Municipal, or Medical).
Closed Reason This is a drop-down list that lists pre-defined reasons why the opportunity closed. The options in the list are defined in the code tables found in Configuration.
Date Closed This column displays the date on which you closed the opportunity (for example, the date you stopped pursuing the opportunity or the date you were awarded the job).
Source This column displays the source of the opportunity (for example, Consultant Job or Marketing Campaign).
Status This column displays the current status of the opportunity: Active or Inactive.
Est. Start Date This column displays the date you expect to begin work if you are awarded the contract.
Est. Compl. Date This column displays the date you expect to complete the work if you are awarded the contract.
Address 1 - 3 This column displays the opportunity mailing address information (street name and number, suite number, post office box number).
City This column displays the city from the opportunity address.
State This column displays the two-character abbreviation for the state from the opportunity address.
Zip This column displays the ZIP code from the opportunity address.
County This column displays the county in which the opportunity is located.
Country This column displays the country from the opportunity address.
Create User This column displays the user ID of the person who created the opportunity record in the Opportunities hub.
Create Date This column displays the date on which the opportunity record was created.
Modify User This column displays the user ID of the person who most recently modified the opportunity record.
Modify Date This column displays the date on which the opportunity record was most recently modified.
Owner Number This column displays the identifier of the activity owner.
Owner Name This column displays the name of the activity owner.
Owner Address Description This column displays the description of the activity owner's address (for example, Company Headquarters, Main Office, or Northeast Office).
Owner Concatenated Address This column displays the activity owner's primary street address, city, state, and ZIP code. The report shows this information in a single column.
Description This column displays the description of the opportunity.
Closed Reason This is a drop-down field that lists pre-defined reasons why the opportunity closed. The options in the list are defined in the code tables found in Configuration.
Closed Notes This is a memo field that you can use to fill in any description that relates to the closing of the opportunity.
Service Profile Code If Fee Estimate is enabled in Opportunity Settings, this column displays the code for the service profile that is associated with the opportunity.

Responsibility This column displays the level of responsibility the firm has for the opportunity (for example, Prime, Joint Venture, or Consultant).

NAICS Code If the company is in Maryland, this column displays the six-digit North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the opportunity.

Solicitation This column displays the ID number of the request for proposal (RFP) for the opportunity.

Project - Project Manager Name This column displays the name of the project manager for the project associated with the opportunity.
Project Supervisor Name This column displays the name of the supervisor for the project associated with the opportunity.
Project Responsibility This column displays the level of responsibility your firm has for the project associated with the opportunity (for example, Prime, Joint Venture, or Consultant).
Project Type This column displays the project type for the project associated with the opportunity (for example, Environmental or Aviation).
Project Start Date This column displays the start date of the project associated with the opportunity.
Project Est Completion Date This column displays the estimated completion date of the project associated with the opportunity.
Project Actual Completion Date This column displays the actual completion date of the project associated with the opportunity.
Project Total Project Cost This column displays the total cost of the project associated with the opportunity. This field is also used in the SF255 Item 8e, which asks for "total construction cost of completed projects (or, where no construction was involved, the approximate cost of your work)."
Project Firm Cost This column displays the portion of the project cost for which your enterprise is responsible.
Project JTD Revenue Amount This column displays the job-to-date revenue amount for the project associated with the opportunity.
Project JTD Profit This column displays the job-to-date profit for the project associated with the opportunity.
Project JTD Billed Amount This column displays the job-to-date billed amount for the project associated with the opportunity.

This amount equals (Labor + Fee + Consultants + Expenses + Units + Interest Billed). It does not include taxes.

Project JTD AR Amount This column displays the job-to-date amount billed but not yet received for the project associated with the opportunity. This amount includes taxes.
Project JTD Total Actual Cost This column displays the job-to-date total actual cost for the project associated with the opportunity.
Project JTD Direct Cost This column displays the job-to-date cost of direct expenses for the project associated with the opportunity.
Project JTD Labor Cost This column displays the job-to-date labor cost for the project associated with the opportunity.
Project JTD Hours This column displays the job-to-date hours for the project associated with the opportunity.
Project YTD Revenue Amount This column displays the year-to-date revenue for the project associated with the opportunity.
Project YTD Profit This column displays the year-to-date profit amount for the project associated with the opportunity.
Project YTD Billed Amount This column displays the year-to-date billed amount for the project associated with the opportunity. This amount does not include taxes.
Project YTD AR Amount This column displays the year-to-date accounts receivable amount (billed but not yet received) for the project associated with the opportunity. This amount does include taxes..
Project YTD Total Actual Cost This column displays the year-to-date actual cost amount for the project associated with the opportunity.
Project YTD Direct Cost This column displays the year-to-date cost of direct expenses for the project associated with the opportunity.

Project YTD Hours This column displays the year-to-date hours for the project associated with the opportunity.
Promo. Project Principal–In–Charge Name If the project associated with the opportunity is a promotional project, this column displays the name of the principal.

Promo. Project JTD Total Actual Cost If the project associated with the opportunity is a promotional project, this column displays the job-to-date total actual cost for the project.
Promo. Project JTD Labor Cost If the project associated with the opportunity is a promotional project, this column displays the job-to-date labor cost for the project.
Promo. Project JTD Hours If the project associated with the opportunity is a promotional project, this column displays the job-to-date hours for the project.
Promo. Project YTD Total Actual Cost If the project associated with the opportunity is a promotional project, this column displays the year-to-date total actual cost for the project.
Promo. Project YTD Labor Cost If the project associated with the opportunity is a promotional project, this column displays the year-to-date total labor cost for the project.
Promo. Project YTD Hours If the project associated with the opportunity is a promotional project, this column displays the year-to-date hours.
Custom Currency Code DRAFT: This column displays the currency code specified in the Opportunities hub.
Master Contract This column displays the master contract that is associated with the opportunity.
Proposal Manager This column displays the employee in your organization who has primary responsibility for submitting the proposal related to the opportunity.
Activities - Completed The activity can be Pending or Completed.
Activities - Type This column displays the activity type (for example, Phone Call, Meeting, or Email).
Activities - Subject This column displays a brief description of the activity (for example, Initial Consultation, Planning Meeting, Customer Lunch, or Follow-up Visit).
Activities - Start Date This column displays the date and time that the activity is scheduled to begin.
Activities - Priority This column displays the priority ranking that indicates the relative importance of individual activities: High, Medium, or Low.
Activities - Owner This column displays the name of the employee who is responsible for the activity.
Activities - Primary Firm This column displays the name of the firm associated with the activity.
Activities - Primary Contact This column displays the name of the primary firm contact associated with the activity.
Activities - Primary Contact Bus. Phone This column displays the primary firm contact's work telephone number.
Activities - Project This column displays the name of the project associated with the activity.
Activities - Marketing Campaign This column displays the identifier of the marketing campaign associated with the activity.
Activities - Location This column displays the location where the activity occurred or will occur.
Activities - Notes This column displays additional text that describes the activity.
Pop (in Months) This column displays the duration (in months) of work on the contract associated with the opportunity.
Total Contract Value This column displays the total amount of the contract for the owner of the opportunity.
Marketing Coordinator This column displays the name of the employee designated as the Marketing Coordinator for the opportunity.
Proposal Manager This column displays the name of the employee designated as the Proposal Manager for the opportunity.
Business Development Lead This column displays the name of the employee designated as the Business Development Lead for the opportunity.
Added By – Name If the opportunity was imported from GovWin IQ , this column displays the name of the employee who imported the IQ record.
Competition Columns If you selected Competition in the Grid Type field on the General tab for this report, the following competition fields from the Competition tab on the Projects form in the Projects hub display in the Column Name field on the Columns tab. Select a column to add it to the report.

Contacts - Name This column displays the name of the contact associated with the opportunity using the format Last Name, First Name.
Contacts - Firm This column displays the name of the firm associated with the contact.
Contacts - Role This column displays the contact's role on the opportunity (for example, Owner or Project Manager).
Contacts - Role Description This column displays the contact's role on the opportunity.
Contacts -Title This column displays the contact's title (for example, Director, Project Manager, or CEO).
Contacts - Business Phone This column displays the contact's business telephone number.
Contacts - Mobile Phone This column displays the contact's cellular telephone number.

  • The address (URL) for a Web site, intranet site, file transfer (FTP) site, and so on. If you preview the report, you can click the link to go to that address.

Marketing Campaigns - Number This column displays the identifier for the marketing campaign associated with the opportunity.

Project Codes - Project Code This column displays the project code associated with the opportunity. Project codes enable you to identify the types work or stages of work you expect to perform and to enter estimated fees for each one.

Project Codes - Fee This column displays the estimated fee for the work that the project code represents.
Project Codes - SF330 This column displays the SF330 code for the project code.
Proposals - Name This column displays the name of the proposal.
Proposals - Number This column displays the proposal identifier.
Proposals - Type This column displays the proposal type (for example, Draft Proposal, or Technical Proposal).
Proposals - Organization If you use organizations, this column displays the organization in your enterprise that is responsible for producing the proposal.
Proposals - Responsible Person This column displays the name of the employee responsible for producing the proposal.
Proposals - Status This column displays the status of the proposal (for example, Pending, Won, Lost, Go/No Go, or Delayed).
Proposals - Source This column displays the proposal source (for example, client referral, consultant job, or marketing campaign).
Proposals - Date Advertised This column displays the date on which the request for proposal was published.
Proposals - Due Date This column displays the date by which you must submit the proposal.
Proposals - Submittal Date This column displays the actual date on which you submitted the proposal or expect to submit it.
Proposals - Award Date This column displays the date on which your firm was awarded the contract for the proposed job.
Proposals - Fee This column displays the fee associated with the proposal.
Proposals - Linked Proposal If you have created a proposal, this column displays the name of the proposal linked to the opportunity.
Proposals - Linked SF255 If you have created an SF255 proposal, this column displays the name of the SF255 proposal linked to the opportunity.
Proposals - Linked SF330 If you have created an SF330 proposal, this column displays the name of the SF330 proposal linked to the opportunity.
Proposals - Notes This column displays the text entered on the Notes tab of the Proposal Detail dialog box. That dialog box opens when you insert a proposal on the Proposals tab of the Opportunities hub.
