Sales List Columns
The Sales List report contains a standard set of columns. You cannot select columns for this report.
Your setting in the Client Detail field on the General tab determines whether you see all the detail for each transaction or only summary data.
Contents
Column | Description |
---|---|
Tax Country/ Registration | This column displays the tax country code or tax registration number for the client. |
Client | This column displays the identifier for the client. |
Date | This column displays the date of the transaction. |
Type | This column displays the two-letter abbreviation for the type of transaction. |
Invoice | This column displays the invoice number associated with the transaction.
Because a retainage invoice has the same invoice number as the original invoice from which it was withheld, DPS displays Retainage Billing in the Comments column to distinguish it from the original invoice. |
Comments | For a retainage invoice, this column displays Retainage Billing. For other transactions, it is blank. |
Fiscal Period | This column displays the accounting period in which the transaction was posted. |
Post Seq | This column displays the posting sequence number for the transaction.
DPS assigns the sequence numbers during the posting process.
DPS assigns 1 to the first group of transactions posted during an accounting period, 2 to the second group, and so on. To see a numbered list of all of the postings for the current accounting period, click from the desktop application Navigation menu. |
Project | This column displays the project number associated with the transaction. If a transaction is not related to a project, no project number displays. No project number displays for balance sheet account transactions, except for accounts receivable transactions. |
Phase | This column displays the phase number associated with the transaction. |
Task | This column displays the task number associated with the transaction. |
Tax Basis | This column displays the taxable amount for the transaction, tax code, or
client.
If compound taxes are involved, this amount can include both invoice net amounts and other tax amounts. For invoices from which retainage is withheld, the tax basis includes the retainage if Tax when Withheld is selected under Retainage on the Misc tab of the Billing Terms form. The tax basis does not include retainage if Tax when Invoiced is selected. In that case, the tax on the retainage amount is billed on the retainage invoice when the retainage is due. If you use multiple currencies, you have the option to have the report display tax basis amounts, tax amounts, and tax received amounts in any of the following types of currency: transaction currency, functional currency, or tax currency (if tax auditing is enabled for the company). You specify the type of currency you want to use in Report in on the General tab. |
Tax Amount | This column displays the amount of tax for the transaction, tax code, or
client.
Tax Received | This column displays the amount of tax received from the
client for the transaction, tax code, or
client. The report only displays this column if you select
