Contents of the Period Selection Dialog Box

Use the fields and options on this dialog box in the desktop application to choose the accounting period to work in and enable default period settings.

Field	Description
Select Processing Period	In this list, select the accounting period that you want to work in (the active period).
Automatically Default to Current Period at Startup	Select this check box if you want DPS to automatically select the latest period as your active period each time that you open DPS. If you do not select this check box, DPS displays the Change Period dialog box when you open DPS so you can select the active period for your session. Whether or not you select this option, you can change the period you are working in from within DPS.
