Contents of the Floor Check Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to review the status of time entry for your employees for a timesheet period or for a specific day.

Field Description
Company Select the company for which you want to perform a floor check. If your firm does not use multiple companies, this field does not display.
Timesheet Period Select the timesheet period for the floor check.
Time Frame Select either By Timesheet Period or By Timesheet Day to indicate if you want to do a floor check for the entire timesheet period or only for a specific date in the period.
Day

Select the date for the floor check. This field displays only if you select By Timesheet Day.

Actions Select the check box in the Select column for each of the employees and use the Actions menu to do the following for the selected rows:
  • Open Selected in Timesheets: Open the employees' timesheets.
  • Send Notification to Selected: Send a message to the selected employees' Notification Center. For example, you can send them a reminder to complete their timesheets.
Only Employees with other than expected hours Select this check box to limit the list to only employees who have more or less than the expected hours for the timesheet period or day (based on Hours/Day entered on the Employment Details tab in the Employees hub).
Selection Check Box Select each row's check box to select the row for further processing (to send an email to the employee, for example). To select all rows, click the check box at the top of the column heading.
Timesheet Status This column displays the status of the employee's timesheet for the period (for example, Missing or In Progress).
Time Group If the employee is assigned to a time group, this column displays that group.
Employee This column displays the employee's employee number.
Employee Name This column displays the employee's name.
Expected Hours This column displays the number of hours that the employee is expected to work in the timesheet period or day, depending on the Time Frame selection. If the number in the Hours Entered column does not match this number, the Expected Hours display in red font.
Hours Entered This column displays the total number of regular hours that the employee has entered for the timesheet period or day, depending on the Time Frame selection. You can click this number to view the associated timesheet. displays next to this value if it exceeds the number in the Expected Hours column.
Last Saved This column displays the time and date the timesheet was last saved.
Filter Click to apply search filters to one or more grid columns.
Column Selection Click to select the columns that display in the grid.
Close Click this button to close the Floor Check dialog box.
