Recommended Fields for the Import File

The following is the list of fields that Deltek recommends you include in the import file. This is to ensure support for status entry in PM Compass, among other purposes.

• MSP Unique ID (If you select the Use Microsoft Project Unique ID to Link Project Data option)

• Description

• Early Start

• Late Finish

• Actual Start

• Actual Finish

• Baseline Start

• Baseline Finish

• Original Duration

• Computed Remaining Duration

• Physical % Complete

• EVT (if available - user code/text field)

Resource assignments

• Activity ID

• Resource ID

• Budget

• Remaining Quantity

• Physical % Complete

Relationship data

• Predecessor ID (or MSP Predecessors)

• Successor ID

• Relationship Type (part of MSP predecessors if importing from MSP)
