Enter up to a 20-character, uppercase alphanumeric employee ID. Each ID must be unique.  This ID will be displayed in the record description if the employee ID has been configured to be displayed in the General Configuration screen.

Select this checkbox if the employee is active in the system. The default value is checked.

Enter up to 30 characters for the last name.

Enter up to 30 characters for the first name.

Enter the employee's middle initial.

Enter up to a 20-character, uppercase alphanumeric government ID.  This is the employee's initial password.

Note: The employee must enter the initial password exactly as you enter it here.  For example, if you use dashes in the Government ID, the employee must enter them as well.

Enter a 12-character, alphanumeric vendor ID.

Enter up to a 20-character, alphanumeric ID that will be used as the employee's login ID for Deltek Time. Unless specified otherwise, the Import Console process (in the Interfaces menu) will default this value to the employee ID value being imported.

Enter the login ID to be used to authenticate the user when LDAP is configured for your domain. Please see the LDAP section in the Technical Guide for more information.

Note: The Login ID will be used for LDAP authentication if the LDAP ID is blank.

Use the Calendar Lookup to the right of the field to select the hire date of the employee.

Enter up to a 20-character, alphanumeric ID that will be used for the Payroll interface.

The systems that display depend on your licensing. At this time, three modules are possible: "Web Time," "Web Expense," and "Web Self Service."

To deactivate the employee from a module, select the deactivation date from the Calendar Lookup to the right of the field.

Select the type of module access you want the employee to have.  The available options are "No Access," "Seat," and "Trans."  Please review the "Licensing" section in the Getting Started guide for more details.

Selecting this pushbutton to reset the employee's password to the value in the Government ID field.

Note: If you company is using LDAP security, this button will be disabled.  Please review the "LDAP" section of the Technical Guide for more details.
