Employee Groups Charge Trees/Branches

Select the type of access for this charge tree for the selected group. The available options are "Public," "Granted," and "Denied."

If you set up the charge tree in the Charge Trees screen without any restrictions, "Public" will display as the default for this field. If you set up the charge tree with restrictions and this employee group is also listed in the Restrictions tab of the Charge Trees screen, "Granted" will display as the default for this field. If you set up the charge tree with restrictions and this employee group is not listed in the Restrictions tab, "Denied" will display as the default for this field.

If you change the Access value from "Public" to "Granted," the charge tree will become a restricted charge tree and the selected employee group will have access to the charge tree.

If you change the Access value from "Public" to "Denied," the charge tree will become a restricted charge tree and the selected employee group will not have access to the charge tree.

If you change the Access value from "Granted" to "Public," the system will display the following confirmation message: "Are you sure you want to remove all employee group authorization for this charge level?"

If you select Yes, all employee group restrictions will be removed from the charge tree. If you select No, the Access value will remain "Granted."

If you change the Access value from "Granted" to "Denied," the selected employee group will be removed from the restrictions tab of the Charge Tree screen so that the employee group will no longer have access to the charge tree.

If you change the Access value from "Denied" to "Public," the system will display the following confirmation message: "Are you sure you want to authorize all groups for this charge level?"

If you select Yes, the employee group restrictions will be removed from the charge tree so that all employee groups will have access to the charge tree. If you select No, the Access value will remain "Denied."

If you change the Access value from "Denied" to "Granted," the selected employee group will be added to the Restrictions tab of the Charge Tree screen so that the employee group will have access to the charge tree.

In order to drill down to the charge branch information for a charge tree, select the "+" button to the left of the charge tree row. The tab will display branches for the tree selected.

Charge Trees/Branches

Use the Charge Trees/Branches tab to grant or deny the group access to charge trees/branches. The tab consists of an editable table grid. If you "drill down" into a tree, the tab will change and you can grant/deny charge branches at the selected level.

A graphical charge tree representation displays at the top of the screen as you drill down into a tree and its branches. Each level above the current level displays as a hyperlink in the graphical charge tree. Select any of these links to display the information at that level.

Sort By

Use the Sort By drop-down box to select the order in which the charge tree and charge branch information displays. The available options are "Code" or "Description." If you change the Sort By value, the table will display in the newly chosen option.
