Use the drop-down box to select the level of editing on the daily regular hours entered by an employee. The available values are:
No Edit - No edit will occur.
Hard Edit - If an employee does not enter the correct number of hours for a day, he will not be able to sign the timesheet until he corrects the hours.
Soft Edit - If an employee does not enter the correct number of hours for a day, he will receive a warning message when he signs his timesheet, but he will be able to continue.
The default value is "No Edit."
Enter the minimum regular hours that must be entered each day. The default value is "0.00."
Enter the maximum regular hours that must be entered each day. The default value is "24.00."
Select the type of edit that you want to occur when an employee's hours are less than the timesheet period standard hours. The available values are:
No Edit - No edit will occur.
Hard Edit - If an employee does not enter enough hours for a period, he will not be able to sign the timesheet until he corrects the hours.
Soft Edit - If an employee does not enter enough hours for a period, he will receive a warning message when he signs his timesheet, but he will be able to continue.

Use the drop-down box to select the day of the week on which the workweek starts. The valid values are "Mon," "Tue," "Wed," "Thu," "Fri," "Sat," or "Sun." The default value is "Mon."
Use the drop-down box to select the level of editing on the hours charged to the UDT01 (Account) type associated with this timesheet class. The available values are:
No Edit - No edit will occur.
Hard Edit - If you have worked less than the minimum required hours based on the Account type, the system will display the following error when you attempt to sign your timesheet. You will not be able to complete the signature process until you correct the timesheet hours. "The following charge types have less than the required minimum regular hours on the day(s) specified: Direct - MM/DD/YYYY"
If you have worked more than the maximum required hours allowed based on the Account type, the system will display the following error: "The following charge types exceed the maximum regular hours on the day(s) specified: Direct - MM/DD/YYYY"
Soft Edit - If you have worked less than the recommended hours based on the UDT01 (Account) type, the system will display the following warning when you sign your timesheet: "The following charge types(s) have less than the recommended minimum regular hours on the day(s) specified: Direct - MM/DD/YYYY"
If you have worked more than the recommended regular hours based on the UDT01 (Account) type, the system will display the following warning: "The following charge types exceed the recommended maximum regular hours on the day(s) specified: Direct - MM/DD/YYYY"
The default value is "No Edit."
Use the drop-down box to select the level of editing of weekly overtime. The available values are:
No Edit - No edit will occur.
Hard Edit - If an employee has overtime hours for the appropriate week, the system will check to see whether the employee has the maximum number of regular hours that counts towards overtime.

Note: The weekly maximum hours are used for this edit. The system will look at whether the charges count towards overtime based on UDT01 Type. All weeks that end within the timesheet period will be checked. A week is defined in a drop-down box in the Weekly group box. |
