Use the fields in the footer area to sign, approve, and reject timesheets.
This area provides a legend to the color coding that appears in the columns on the timesheet. They are:
Yellow - Days designated as holiday
Green - Days designated as vacation
Grey - Days designated as non-working days
Select the first pushbutton to the right of the Approval field to approve the timesheet. In the following cases, the approval pushbutton will be disabled:
The timesheet has a rejected status.
The supervisor is viewing his own timesheet.
The timesheet does not have any lines.
The person viewing the timesheet signed the timesheet.
The timesheet has an "Open" or "Missing" status.
The supervisor who is viewing the employee timesheet does not have rights to approve the timesheet.
If there is text in the Signature/Approval Text field in the UDT Options tab of the Time Configuration screen for "Approval," an Approve Timesheet dialog will appear the first time you select the Approval pushbutton. Subsequent approvals will not display the dialog. The Approve Timesheet dialog will display if you leave the Timesheet screen and come back and do another approval.
Select the second pushbutton to the right of the Approval field to reject the timesheet. In the following cases, the Rejection pushbutton is disabled:
The timesheet has no lines.
The supervisor is viewing his own timesheet.
The timesheet has an "Open," "Missing," "Processed," or "Rejected" status.
The supervisor who is viewing the employee timesheet does not have rights to reject the timesheet.
The Reject Timesheet dialog will display when you select the second pushbutton to the right of the Approval field.
