Delete a Functional Group from a Service Profile

You can delete a functional group from a service profile if it is not referenced in a fee estimate.

You cannot delete the functional groups for system-defined service profiles.

To delete a functional group from a service profile, complete the following steps:

1. From the Vision Navigation menu, click Configuration > General > Fee Estimate Service Profiles.
2. Open the service profile.
3. Click the Functional Group tab and select the row that contains the functional group that you want to delete.
4. On the grid toolbar, click Delete.
5. Click Save.

Alternative procedure: You can disable a functional group if you do not want it to be available for selection on the fee estimates that are related to the service profile. When you click the Disabled check box, the functional group is removed from the Functional Group drop-down in the Opportunity Info Center and in Project Fee Estimate application in Accounting, but remains enabled for fee estimates that previously included the functional group.
