Estimated Revenue Allocation Templates Dialog Box

Use the Estimated Revenue Allocation Template dialog box in conjunction with the Estimated Revenue tab to enter additional information about the selected template. This includes inserting and/or editing grid rows that contain description, time frame, and percent of total revenue details. You may also delete details as needed.

Location

To display the dialog box, complete the following steps:

  1. From the Vision Navigation menu, click Configuration > General > Opportunity Settings.
  2. Click the Estimated Revenue tab.
  3. Click Insert.

Field Description
Insert Click this option to insert a new row on the grid. Complete the grid columns as needed.
Copy Select the template information that you want to copy and click this option. You can then edit the information as needed.
Delete Select the template description that you want to remove and click this option. Vision deletes the information from the template.
Description Enter a description for the template. The description that you enter here displays in the Description field on the Estimated Revenue tab of the Opportunity Info Center form.
Time Frame Select the time frame: Days, Weeks, Months, or Years. This field is used in conjunction with the Time From Est. Start Date field to populate the Revenue Date field in the Estimated Revenue Allocation grid on the Estimated Revenue tab of the Opportunity Info Center form. This field is required if a number other than 0 is entered in the Time from Est. Start Date field.
Time From Est. Start Date Enter the revenue date. This field is used to populate the Revenue Date field in the Estimated Revenue Allocation grid on the Estimated Revenue tab of the Opportunity Info Center form. If you enter 0 in this field, then the Revenue Date populated in the Estimated Revenue allocation grid will be equal to the Opportunity Est. Start Date.
% of Total Revenue Enter the percent of total revenue. The number you enter cannot be less than 0 or more than 100. The % of Total Revenue is totaled at the bottom of the grid and is used to populate the % of Total Revenue field on the Estimated Revenue Allocation grid on the Estimated Revenue tab of the Opportunity Info Center form.
