Convert Labor Code Keys

Use the Labor Code Key Conversion utility to change a labor code or to close out (consolidate) labor code data into a single labor code.

You can consolidate data between two existing labor codes. Alternatively, you can set up a new labor code in which to close out labor codes that are no longer in use.

Prerequisite: Back up your Vision database.

To change labor codes, complete the following steps:

1. From the Vision Navigation menu, click Utilities > Key Conversions > Labor Codes.
2. Complete the fields on the Key Convert Labor Codes form.
3. Select one of the following actions:

   Option	Description
   To save the conversion to run later	Click Save.
   To run the conversion now	Click Run.
   To schedule the conversion to run on a regular basis via the process server	Click Schedule and complete the Schedule dialog box.
