Use the Organizations Key Conversion utility to change an organization code or to close out (consolidate) organization code data into a single organization code.
You can consolidate data between two existing organization codes. Alternatively, you can set up a new organization code in which to close out organization codes that are no longer in use.
If the organization has multiple levels, this key conversion only allows you to change the whole organization at one time. If you want to change the individual portions of the organization system-wide, use the Organization Subcodes Key Conversion.
If your company uses the Multicompany feature, you cannot change the first level of the organization.
Prerequisite: Back up your Vision database.
To change organization codes, complete the following steps:

From the Vision Navigation menu, click

Complete the fields on the Key Convert Organizations form.

Select one of the following actions:
