Associate a File with an Info Center Record

You can associate files with Info Center records on the Files grid of any Info Center that allows file associations.

To add a file to the Files grid, complete the following steps:

  1. Click Insert on the Files grid.
  2. On the Microsoft Explorer Choose File dialog box, select the file that you want to add to the Files grid.
  3. Click Open. Vision closes the Choose File dialog box and adds the file path information for the selected file to the File Path field on the Files grid. If the file is a graphics file, Vision adds a graphics indicator.
  4. In the Description field on the Files grid, enter a description of the file.
  5. Click Save.
