Use the Document Management tab to enable the Document Management feature in
Vision. When you add or modify information on this tab, you must save it. When you save it,
Vision stores the information and makes the SharePoint Server entered in the
Server field the active SharePoint Server for
Vision.

Enable Document Management

Select this option to turn on Document Management functionality in
Vision. After you enable Document Management, the Document Management tabs display in all Info Centers except the Units and Accounts Info Centers.

Server Name/IP
|
Enter the URL/Web address where Windows SharePoint Services are installed. You can enter values such as "servername:port" in this field. If you enter any protocol prefixes (http, https) or subsite paths,
Vision removes them. If you enter a port number,
Vision removes it and instead displays it in the
Virtual Server Port field.
To select subsites, click
Retrieve Sites.
For example, if you enter "http://servername:port/subsite" and leave the field, the value becomes "servername" and the port displays in the
Virtual Server Port field.

Virtual Server Port
|
Enter the port number associated with the server referenced in the
Server name/IP field. This should be port 80.

Current Site
|
Click
to select a site.
|
Test Site
|
Click this button to verify that the current site can be successfully accessed.

View Site
|
Click this button to validate that the site you want to use is actually extended and managed by SharePoint.
|
New Site
|
Click this button to add a new site.
Vision displays a dialog box that allows you to add new site information.
