Download XE.com Currency Exchange Rate Service
The XE.com Currency Exchange Rate Service is an online exchange rate data feed service, which you can incorporate into Vision's Daily Exchange Rates feature.
To download and set up the XE.com data feed, complete the following steps:
-
Go to
http://www.xe.com/dfs/#ordering and follow the directions provided.
When you finish entering contract and payment information, XE.com will send you, via email, a location where you can configure your data feed.
-
Follow the directions on the form, noting the following:
-
Make sure that you select the appropriate base currency for the license.
-
Make sure that you select the currencies that you want to download.
-
In the Rate Format field, select XML. This is the only rate format that Vision allows.
-
The Lockin time is the time that the rate is locked in by XE.com; therefore you may want to coordinate this time with the process server settings in Vision's Daily Exchange Rates, so that you are not getting yesterday's rate.
-
The IP range is the range of the computer that will be downloading rates. You may want to contact your IT department and/or XE.com to ensure that it is set up correctly.
-
- In Vision, click Configuration > General > System Settings.
- Complete the fields on the Multicurrency tab of the System Settings form.
-
Click
Save.
