Billing Labor Transfers and Labor Code Levels and Charge Bands
TrafficLIVE charge bands are equivalent to Vision's level 1 labor code. (You map the specific TrafficLIVE charge bands to the specific Vision level 1 labor codes in TrafficLIVE in External Code field.)
. For each charge band, you enter the corresponding Vision level 1 labor code in theIn TrafficLIVE, each task is associated with only one charge band. In Vision, the TrafficLIVE charge band that corresponds with the level 1 labor code for a task for a linked project/job displays in the TrafficLIVE Charge Band field on the Budget & Revenue tab in the Project Info Center.
- The project/job that you are transferring labor to must exist in Vision (it has already been sent from TrafficLIVE to Vision using the TrafficLIVE web service).
- The TrafficLIVE charge band for the task that you are transferring to is retrieved from the TrafficLIVE Charge Band field on the Budget & Revenue tab in the Vision Project Info Center by default.
- When linked timesheets in TrafficLIVE are updated with the billing labor transfers from Vision, all labor transfers, regardless of billing status, are updated in TrafficLIVE.
- Billing labor transfers that have labor that did not originate from TrafficLIVE do not get updated in TrafficLIVE when you run the TrafficLIVE web service. For example, if a labor record is added in Vision as an insert in , it does not get updated to the task in TrafficLIVE.
