Payment Currency This field displays the your company's assigned functional currency in Vision > Configuration > General > Company Settings.

Exchange Override Section

Use this section to specify the date or rate method for the exchange override. Note that if you select None as the Method, the remaining fields in this section are disabled and the default exchange rate for the selected override currency applies.

Field Description
Method Select the method for the exchange override: None, Date or Rate.

If the selected currency is the same as the functional currency, you must override the date or rate at the detail level on the appropriate line in the expense report grid. Navigator displays a dialog box message that indicates the conflict.

Date If you select Date in the Method field, enter the date that you want to use for the exchange rate in place of the date on which the expense took place.
You can only override the exchange date when the currency code on an expense row is different than the payment currency. This date is used for the exchange rate if you change the expense item's currency code to something other than the transaction override currency that is assigned on this dialog box.
Rate If you select Rate in the Method field, enter the rate that you want to use in place of the currency exchange rate set up in Vision Configuration. This field is disabled if the Transaction Currency and Payment Currency values are the same.
