Invoice Details Dialog Box

Use the Invoice Details dialog box to view all invoice, credit memo, and payment information by invoice section (Fee, Labor, Consultant, etc.). These invoices are listed by date in ascending order.

Location

To display the Details dialog box, complete the following steps:
  1. In Navigator, click and select Project Management.
  2. Select a project.
  3. Select the Invoices tab. The Invoices page displays.
  4. Select an invoice and click the Details button on the Invoices grid. The Details dialog box displays.

Field Description
Invoice

The invoice number displays on the dialog box header.

Date This column displays the invoice or credit memo date.
Type This column displays the type of invoice: Billed, Credit, or Received.
Credit Memo Reference This column displays a credit memo reference number for rows where the invoice type is Credit. C
Invoice Section This column displays the section of the invoice where the entry is shown. Options include: Fee, Labor, Units, Consultants, Reimbursables, Additional Items, Limits, Taxes, Retainage, Interest, Outstanding A/R, and Billed-to-date.
Tax Code This column displays if you have the Vision Billing module installed. Refer to this field for the tax code that is used in the Tax invoice section. amount for an applied retainer, payment, or credit memo
Amount This column displays the billed, paid, credit memo, or applied retainer amount.
Tax Amount This column displays if you have the Vision Billing module installed. Refer to this field to view the amount for the tax invoice section.
Interest The interest amount that displays depends on the invoice type. For a billing invoice, it is the amount of interest that was charged on past due invoices, and for a credit invoice, it is the amount of interest that was taken off of the invoice.
Retainage This column only displays if retainers are enabled in Configuration > Accounting > System Settings. Refer to this field to view the retainer amount.
Totals For the Amount and Interest columns, the dialog box provides totals for all transactions listed.
