Use the Opportunity tab to specify how hit rates are calculated for opportunities.
In general,
DPS calculates the hit rate as follows:
Awarded Opportunities / All Opportunities
However, you can use the options on this tab to restrict the types of opportunities included in the hit rate calculation.

Hit Rate Options

| Date Range
|
To calculate the hit rate for opportunities opened within a specified date range, specify the starting and ending dates for the range.

| Exclude Inactive Opportunities
|
To exclude inactive opportunities from the hit rate calculation, select this check box.
|
| Awarded Code
|
Select the stage that indicates an opportunity resulted in a contract.
DPS uses this to determine the number of hits.

| Exclude Stages
|
To exclude any opportunities from the hit rate calculation based on their stage, use the lookup to select the stages to exclude.
