Accounting
Use the Accounting application to track your firm’s day-to-day financial activity. You can also generate reports that help you assess project and firm-wide financial performance.
Use Accounting Settings to set up your chart of accounts, which you use when you enter and track your accounting transactions.

- Labor Cross Charge 
 Labor cross charging is the transfer of labor expense and associated revenue between different organizations within your enterprise. Use labor cross charges when an employee from one organization works on a project from another organization. The cross charge (transfer) allows each organization to match cost with revenue and fairly assess profitability.
- Gains and Losses 
 If you use multiple currencies, you can calculate and post currency exchange gains and losses. DPS automatically posts realized gains and losses from foreign currency transactions when you settle the transactions. To calculate and post other currency exchange gains and losses, use the Gains/Losses and Revaluations process.
- Tax File Generation (Desktop)
 Use Tax File Generation to produce files that contain tax reporting information.
- FEC File Generation (Desktop)
 Periodically, companies doing business in France must submit the Fichier d'Ecritures Comptables (FEC) to the taxing authorities.
- Form 1099 Processing
 You must provide a 1099 form at the end of the year to any consultant that was paid above a specified amount (as legislated). The 1099 form displays the amount paid by your enterprise to the consultant.
- Approvals Review (Desktop)
 In the Approvals Review application, you can view a list of approval workflow records.
- Project Budgeting
 Use the Project Budget Worksheet to manage labor budgets and expense budgets for your projects. You can set up budgets for individual labor codes and expense accounts, at both cost and billing rates.
- Project Review (Desktop)
 Use Project Review to see an overview of a project's performance without running a report.
