Add a Product Listing for Premium Review

As a Deltek administrator, add a product listing for premium review to begin the product submission process and enable the BPM to add product information and related resources.

Use this procedure as a reference for adding a product listing for a specific BPM, family, and product type combination. This procedure neither overwrites nor copies an existing product listing.

To add a product listing for premium review:

  1. On the navigation menu, click Products.
  2. On the Product Listings page, search for a product listing of a specific family/section and product type that you want to add for the BPM.
    To quickly find the product listing, you can use the following filters:
  3. On the product listing card, click the product's image (if any), category, product name, family name, or product type.

  4. On the Manage Listing page, click Add Product.
  5. In edit mode, in the Model # field, enter a model number.
  6. In the Product Name field, enter a unique name for the product.
  7. Optionally, add the remaining information about the product listing and related resources.
    Typically, the BPM that owns product listing will complete the listing information and upload the related resources at a later stage of the product submission process.
    1. Enter the remaining information about the product listing.
    2. Add photos and videos.
    3. Add documents for download.
    4. Add the listing's links.
    5. Add the product's partnership information.
  8. Set the product listing type:
    1. Under LISTING TYPE, click the current listing type.
    2. From list of listing types, select a listing type.
      See Product Listing Types.
      Note: If you select the Manufacturer listing type, most of the information that you entered will not be available in display mode. Specpoint retains these information and related resources in edit mode.
  9. Under STATE, click the current state and select Premium Review.
  10. Under STATUS, click the current status and select Active.
  11. Set assigned Deltek users:
    1. Under ASSIGN DELTEK, click the names of users.
    2. From the list of users, select one or multiple users.
      To search for a user, enter a user's name in the SELECT field.
    3. To remove a user, click the x in the user pill. To clear all user selections, click Clear.
  12. Set assigned BPM users:
    1. Under ASSIGN BPM, click the names of users.
    2. From the list of users, select one or multiple users.
      To search for a user, enter a user's name in the SELECT field.
    3. To remove a user, click the x in the user pill. To clear all user selections, click Clear.
  13. Click Save.
  14. Click Yes to confirm.
    The product listing is now ready for BPM submissions.
