Use Lookups to Enter Consultant Data Overview

Use lookups in the Consultant Resource grid to access consultant records. These lookups make entering consultant data faster and easier.

Lookups are available wherever you see a Lookup button . The data field in which the icon appears determines which lookup opens when you select the icon. For example, if you are in the Consultant Name field and click the lookup button, the Consultant Name lookup opens.

After you open a lookup, you can use the Search field to search the list of records in the lookup. After you enter the desired text in this field, click the Lookup button to locate the matching results.

Note: When the Automatically retrieve records when opening lookups option is selected on the General tab of Vision > User Options, Navigator searches for all matching records. If a lookup limit rule is in place, Navigator applies the limit when the search takes place.
