Labor Overview

The Labor information on the Planning tab includes both charts and grids that provide a summary of the project plan's labor details. The Labor Planning and Resource Assignments grids also allow you to add or update resource assignments and their associated costs for the plan.

Labor Plan Settings
Use the Labor options on the Plan Settings dialog box to specify the calendar scale, multipliers, and cost and billing rates and methods for your plans. This dialog box automatically displays when you create a new Navigator plan or you convert a Vision plan to a Navigator plan.
Labor Charts Overview
Refer to the labor charts for a quick synopsis of your project's status.
Labor Grid
The Labor grid provides details on the labor dates, resources, and cost and billing values associated with the current project.
Procedures
Use these procedures for adding or deleting labor resource information on the Labor grid. You can also switch the view from hours by calendar period to a summary of hours for each resource. And, if you are planning at cost, you can switch between viewing resources at cost or billing.
Screens
Use these screens for adding or replacing resources on the Labor Resources grid.
