Add Dimension Details

Use the Dimension Setup submodule to add details to selected dimensions.

To use the Dimension Setup submodule, you must have access to Settings as defined in the User Access Rights submodule under Settings.

To add a dimension detail:

1. On the main toolbar, click Settings .
2. If you have more than one company in your system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Settings screen to select the company containing the dimension that you want to a detail to.
3. In the left pane of the Settings screen, click Dimensions > Dimension Setup.
4. Highlight the dimension that you want to add a detail to and on the grid toolbar, click Toggle details .
5. In the subgrid, click Add dimension detail .
6. In the Detail Name dialog box, enter a name and click OK.
   Note: You can only add a dimension detail for user defined dimensions or dimension numbers 1-10.
