Add New Dimensions

Use the Dimension Setup submodule to add new dimensions.

To use the Dimension Setup submodule, you must have access to Settings as defined in the User Access Rights submodule under Settings.

To add a new dimension:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Settings .
  2. If you have more than one company in your system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Settings screen to select the company to which you want to add a new dimension.
  3. In the left pane of the Settings screen, click Dimensions > Dimension Setup.
  4. On the grid toolbar, click Add .
  5. In the Add Dimension dialog box, enter or use the drop-down list to select the applicable information for the dimension that you want to add and click OK.
    Note: WorkBook only allows you to add 10 dimensions.
