Copy an Export Key

An export key is a unique reference key that the export process assigns a file. Copy the export key of a file to your clipboard and use it when importing the file's settings into another system.

To use the Settings Export/Import submodule, you must have access to Settings as defined in the Employee cross-company access submodule under Settings.

To copy the export key of a file:

1. On the main toolbar, click Settings .
2. In the left pane of the Settings screen, click Advanced Tools > Settings Export/Import.
3. Click the Settings Export tab.
4. Under the Key column, hover over the export key that you want to copy and click Copy to clipboard .
