Copy Data from Jobs or Templates

Use the Description submodule to copy data from jobs or templates.

To use the Description submodule, you must have access to Jobs as defined in the User Access Rights submodule under Settings.

To copy data from a job or template:

1. On the main toolbar, click Jobs .
2. On the side toolbar, click Jobs List and highlight the job with the description that you want to copy data into from a job or template.
3. On the side toolbar, click Description.
4. On the grid toolbar, use the drop-down list to select the description that you want to copy data into from a job or template.
5. Click the Description tab.
6. Click Import Options and select Copy data from job or template.
7. In the Copy Data from... dialog box, select the applicable method:
   • If you select Copy from a job, select the job and corresponding description where you want to copy data from.
   • If you select Copy from a template, select the template where you want to copy data from.
8. If you want to copy the data from the job or template as a new description, select the Copy to a new description check box.
9. Click OK.
