Depending on your role in WorkBook, you can deactivate resources that you do not need in 
	 Resources - for example, if you are not currently working with the resource but you plan to work with them again in the future. You cannot deactivate resources with active transactions or jobs in WorkBook. You cannot enable a company after disabling it. 
	  
  
 
	  
		Note:  You must have permission to add, delete, and modify resources to complete this task. 
	 
 
	  
 
	  
		To deactivate a resource: 
		
 
	 
 
	 -  
		  On the main toolbar, click 
			 Resources 
			  . .

		  Select the resource that you want to deactivate by completing any of the following actions: 
		   
		   
			 - In the 
				Search in Grid field, enter the name of the resource, then select it from the grid. 
			 
- Click the 
				Filter field next to the 
				Search in Grid field, select the resource type as your filter, and select the resource from the grid. For example, you can use 
				Clients as the filter and then select the client name from the grid.

		  On the grid toolbar, click the grid options menu 
			  , then click 
			 Enable/Disable Selected Resource. , then click 
			 Enable/Disable Selected Resource.If you are deactivating an employee, WorkBook displays a dialog box for transferring data from the employee that you want to deactivate to another employee. For more information, see related topics below.
