Deactivate a Prospect/Client Contact

Depending on your role in WorkBook, you can deactivate prospect/client contacts that you no longer need from the contact card - for example, if the contact has resigned from a client. You can assign that contact's activities to a new contact before deactivating the current one.

Note: You must have permission to add prospects and clients to WorkBook, as well as modify prospect- and client-related information and activities, to complete this task.

To deactivate a prospect/client contact:

  1. Display the prospect card. See Display the Prospect Card.
  2. On the side toolbar of the prospect card, click Contacts .
  3. Select the contact that you want to deactivate and click Set Contact Active/Inactive on the top toolbar of the prospect card.
  4. Use the Deactivate Contact dialog box to assign the prospect or client's activities to another contact.
There must be more than one contact for you to reassign the activities to another contact.
  5. Click OK.
